Easter Morning 2011 Feast looks lovely. The later was a moment that changed my life forever
HOW WAS 2011 FOR ME?
A roller coaster. Yep when I tried go figuring how life has been in 2011, try positioning yourself in a cart of rollercoaster. It is as thrilling as that, but as the ride ends, you are satisfied with all the screams you had during the ride. I have seen myself an improvement. During the ride, automatic shield or some fibrin threads inside the blood. It took a while to cure but when it is cured it is a victory. As the ride goes, I know I have my safety bump. There goes my Mother and my best friends who always remind me that my life worth more than the ride and however risky the ride might take me, I just have to finish and embrace the ride until I can see the end.
That was me trying to be as metaphorical as can be.
Random facts about me in 2011:
- I develop my interests upon cosmetics, snow, nail-arts, cooking, cupcakes. Designer gowns. I even put Dior Rogue lipstick as a basic principle of joie de vivre! .Basically I have no balls to show the girly side of me.
- I own a foursquare and an instagram account, but proudly keep my pseudonym of them. But I do not, I repeat, I do not deliberately check in or share about my wherabout and what-i-am-doing only if and if only I am at some cool places or doing something cool only. After all, I am not cool.
- I watched less gigs, had less exercise and read less book. This has topped off every dullness I had in 2011.
- I lost a friend that I thought I could trust, but that’s okay, losing a rouge Dior lipstick is more painful than that. I have spent some few weeks in mourning seeking for emotional asylum and there goes I met some friends who will stand by me no matter what. Next up: someone that looks like Gaspard Ulliel only can date me
- I gained weight since perhaps 4 months ago and had a hard time to adjust and loose some weight. Not because I don’t want to, but because I don’t have time. The setback of gaining weights? Yes, you cannot afford going outside wearing anything I have. (note that down: 2012- perhaps more exercise?)
- I travelled Southeast Asia peninsula, India, and nine different countries in Europe in 2011. I slept at the playing ground, airports, train station, ex-military airstrip. I saw wonders of the world, met new and fascinating people and want to have some more. In travel, I found that I am strong, especially when I got no money, I can survive (by emailing my Mom: “Mom, I am running out of money). Some valuable lessons during the trip: always bring nail pick and never ever lose your Dior rogue lipstick. P.s I didn’t have time to foursquare my dispatches around earth. Cause I believe my bubble is bigger than Jakarta.lol

In a nutshell, thank you for all the life lessons dear 2011. You suck a big time but I know this meant something. I got two internship posts at two amazing places. If you happen to read this post, I wish you a happy new year. Let us utilize this once-in-a-year –moment to reflect how worthy our life is, but how wonderful the people who are/were around who shape us the way we are right now. Shake all the hands of newly acquaintance, old friends, best friends, colleagues – whoever they are. Don’t let the new upcoming years stain what you had with them. Don’t ever forget people who raise whoever you are right now.
